I was wary of budgetmags but at such a low cost I decided that even if I lost my money it was worth the chance of getting a Saveur subscription for so little money.

I got the magazines! I had to wait about two months and then oddly got two issues (one two months old, one current) at the same time but I have since gotten my second mailing (third issue) and feel like the subscription has paid for itself now.

Ordered a magazine for three years through budgetmags.com December 2007.  My credit card was charged shortly after but I never received the magazine.  Emailed twice- no reply.  Complained through BBB- still no reply!  The magazines on their website may seem cheap, but they are not since you will lose your money!

I ordered a magazine subscription on October 22, 2005, and my credit card was charged the next day or the day after. On the magazine's web site I got a persistent error message, so I sent an e-mail inquiry to the magazine. I received an e-mail telling me that the magazine had ceased publication.

I sent a copy of the e-mail from the magazine to budgetmags and requested that a credit be issued to my credit card. It has been three weeks and I have received no response from budgetmags and no credit. The magazine is still being offered on the budgetmags site on the front page under "Magazines just added."

The reviews of budgetmags.com consistently indicate that they do not reply to e-mail. My experience is consistent.

Great price. No problems.

I ordered US News for $7 for year's subscription. I received a confirmation within a day and subscription within 2-3 weeks.

No catch. I always thought that there will be a catch because they were at least 40% cheaper than other online options. I am gladly surprised to see that there is no catch.

I ordered 2 magazines from BudgetMags.com, and after 4 months of waiting I still have not received my full order. My numerous emails are ignored and my calls go to voicemail to never be returned. Their customer service is non-existent.

I have been using budgetmags for a few years, and just did a renewal of some magazines this past June (2008).

Here is it mid November (2008) and I have ONLY RECEIVED ONE MAGAZINE!

They sure took my money fast enough, though.

I have now e-mailed several times and when I call their toll number in GA the mailbox is always full - 404-624-9540

Suspected Con Artists; bought a one year renewal 6 mos. ago with nothing done but my money taken. I emailed three times, called twice to no avail; beware of things that seem too good to be true!

My recent experiences are similar to other reports.
For years, this had been a good outfit, always responding immediately and satisfactorily to any problems. But this year, three separate orders have resulted in theft, with no response to e-mails or phone calls.
Sadly, this is also a poor reflection on Yahoo. As budgetmags is a "Yahoo shopping store", I asked Yahoo for help, and was told to take the matter to my credit card company. Yahoo wouldn't even confirm whether budgetmags is still in existence.

Unfortunately, I never did get the magazine I ordered, even after several attempts to contact them through their customer service email (the only option). I took a chance on them because of their good rates, and it was a foolish choice. Let me advise you to use another service.

Don't buy from them, I order my stupid magazine 9 months ago (way past the limit of 120 days) and still no magazine from them. Tried contacting them to no avail. They are professional criminal, they "steal" enough to not get caught.

I used to order from this site with no problems, but would not recommend it or use it again.

I ordered several magazines through them and I believe that I received all of them. The problem came when I had to contact them because I am moving to a new location. I have sent several emails and have called and left voicemails but I have never got a hold of anyone. Their voicemail is non descript and only tells you the number that you are calling. I have used another magazine site and it let you change your address directly through the site and they actually had customer service. I will never use budgetmags.com ever again.

I've ordered from them many times.  All have been good except one where I ordered 3 magazines and I got 2 of the 3 in 2008.  The 3rd I didn't get, of course was the expensive subscription.  After about 4 months of emailing and calling I gave up.  I still get my 2 cheaper magazines each month.  Great great great prices but not worth it.  Also, my computer shows trojan errors when I try to access their website.
