So much better than my Vtech 900 MHz phone
by mabi ,Aug 04 '04
Pros: Many features, clear sound, and very easy to navigate through the features. Cons: None so far.
I was looking for an upgrade from my weak VTech phone. After doing some research and looking around I found the phone that satisfied all my criteria. I purchased the phone at Costco and it was hoping to find the Panasonic 5.8 GHz but I found the next best thing. It is 2.4 GHz phone and it came with two extra handsets and smaller bases typical of expandable phones. The phone feature 6 different ring tones, all digital answering machine---easy to set up your own message (with my VTech it was not so obvious), intercom system between the handsets, speaker phone from any of the handsets, all three phones are wall mountable, 3-way conference capability, 30 station phone directory, dialer and comfortable and natural to hold.
My husband noticed that I bought a phone, he said that he was able to hear me talk very clearly. My old VTech would fizzle out on me and it was time to upgrade. Overall I am very satisfied with my purchase and would highly recommend it.
I payed $149.99 for the packaged deal of 3 phones.

Missing a basic feature
by drbrum ,Oct 15 '03
Pros: Great price for three phones and an answering machine Cons: If you need speed dial capability this is not your phone
I purchased this 3 handset phone package (KX-TG2383PK)at Costco after shopping around. The price at $149.99 for three phones w/answering machine was a bargain. However, shortly after I began setting it up I realized that it did not have speed dialing capability (a feature that I thought had become a standard feature on even the most basic modern phones). Without a speed dial feature, credit card and prepaid phone card calls are a chore.
I will be returning this phone today.
