Pros: Great power, light, smooth, nimble and flickable. Beats all Harleys except Vrod in 1/4 mile.
Cons: Short range, stock carburetion is lean, could use better brakes.
The Bottom Line: For some unknown reason Honda does really not advertise the Magna. After your test ride you'll know why, the bike sells itself!!!!!

If you are looking for a cruiser that can do it all, you have just found it. This bike has power and it is a blast to drive. It is supposed to run mid 12's in the quarter mile stock, although I have yet to try for myself. Torque is good throughout the RPM range. This bike will handle the twisties better than probably 90% of all other cruisers, in addition to going faster. It is very easy to drag the pegs on this bike if you are willing to try it.
The stock jetting is a little lean, but $7 worth of shims and 3 hrs work fixes that. Check out www.drp123.com for the shims.
If you are trying to decide between a cruiser and a sport bike, give the Magna a test ride. It has the best of both worlds. Whatever you do, at least give the Magna a test ride. After you do, you will wonder how Honda sells so many Shadows!
(P.S. This bike can beat a VTX 1800 in the quarter mile and it is only a 750!!!!!!)
