Pros: Fun! Easy to use! Rather inexpensive (compared to other brands)! And pretty fast for its size.
Cons: The gear shifter is easily bent.

When I was looking for a dirtbike to buy, I went to many different stores and looked at many different bikes. I also went to many websites such as this one to find out which ones are the best. Through my research, I determined that Honda was one of best (if not the best) brand of dirtbikes and off-road vehicles. I have been told by many people that they are very reliable and last a long time, needing little work. Even people who worked at stores that sold different brands told me this, even though Hondas weren't the most expensive. So we went out and bought two of the xr100r's. I've had them for about a month now and ride them very often, just about every day. So far they have shown no major problems. They are fairly fast, get really good gas mileage, and are especially easy to use. The only thing that I don't like too much about them (which isn't a major problem, I just never heard of it before and it is kind of annoying) is that the gear shifter has gotten bent a number of times already. When you fall off the bike, something that can be a common experience for a beginner, if you fall to the left the part of the gear shifter that sticks out will be easily bent in. This really isn't a big deal, and can be fixed easily by bending it back in, it is just annoying. Other than that I have found that they are great bikes, and are VERY fun to ride. This size motorcycle is good for someone who is a beginner rider, and isn't very big. Probably from people of ages 12 or 23 through 18. Larger and older people definitely can ride them, they would probably just be more comfortable on a bigger bike.
