The reinvented square

by chevy54: Written: Feb 10 '03

Product Rating: 5.0 Recommended: Yes

Pros: great concept, good mechanic, good power, lot's of room inside
Cons: ugly shape, rigidity of the frame not improved, center of gravity is high
The Bottom Line: That's a good SUV, good gas millage, good performances, good braking, good in everything and it look's like a square!

I think this is the most ugly car in the new concepts this year. Some likes it, and some ates it.It's made on a CR-V platform but there are no sides structure. Same engine. Lets take about it more:

ACCELERATIONS

It does good at this point. The V-Tech engine developes 160 HP at 6000 RP/M. Good, thats a little bit high. The torque is good, 162 ib-pi at 3600 RP/M, thats great and it improves off road diving.

TRANSMISSION

Two transmissions are available. First, the automatic 4 speed does good work, it changes fast of gear. Second, the 5 speed manual is the best, because it's a 4 cylinders engine. And it improves gas millage.

BRAKING

The 4 weel disc brake with ABS are excellent, even with a weight of 1600 KG. The disc are not over heating, because of the air that comes nicely in by the 16 weels.

HANDLING

It's ok, the roll is present, but not to much in everyday driving, but don't forget, it's higher than larger, so don't try to do racing!

INTERIOR

That's really the best of this vehicle. The floor is in plastic, it's easier to wash it. You can do several modifications to the interior like fixing the seats on the sides on the vehicle.
