I just got my sharp md-mx30 about an hour ago and i literally am still in awe of how much i love it. I would highly reccomend getting it and below are reasons why. Oh, and the BEST place to get it online is www.aoknetinc.com you WONT find a better deal, i saved over $100 with this company, they are fast, next,they'll ship it the next day, they're friendly, and very helpful, in fact they have recently won many awards and it is NOT refurbished brand new, anyhoo, here is why this is simply a great system:
Very compact system, it is very lightweight and you could put it anywhere, much better than those bulky systems.
Very sleek looking. I was really looking for something sleek and would look good, and I found it, all the display lights is creats is just really cool. Display shows titles ect on the MD too.
Great sound quality (NOT 100% crystal clear profeesional sound, but much better than average and suitablle for most people)And it can get pretty loud too.
High speed dubbing: Record a CD to MD in half the time with high speed dubbing (2x) and track marks are automatically insterted. Recording quality is also very good too. Also it reads cdr's, i dont know about cdrw yet, but i will try later on and let you know (I doubt it though that it will read cdrw)
Great reception tuner.
Easy to use, i didnt need the guide for anything, even setting up the time, alarm, ect....
Great price (at aoknetinc.com) I got with shipping for about $179 i would say, and you'll find it at another site, which is a poorly runned site anyway for over $250. aoknetinc said they had plenty in stock so you wont have to worry about it being backordered.
The only con, and if you could even call it a con is there is no tape deck, i have a couple tapes of a concert that i may listen to once a month but it's no big deal, no one really listenes to tapes anymore, and it saves you room without it.
Usually i dont give something 5 stars without seriosuly thinking about it and unless it truly deserves it but this unit truly does deserve 5 stars.
