Pros: simple, great audio quality, not terribly expensive
Cons: very small power button (not bad for the only complaint!)
The Bottom Line: If you prefer substance over form -- buy it!

| odessit's Full Review: Alpine TDA-7563 Car Cassette Player |
I actually have TDA-7564 -- but I assume that 7563 is very similar model. It is paired with Alpine CHA-1214 CD changer in the trunk (excellent piece of equipment by itself!).
Major reason for 7564 was it's ability to select a disc in 12 disk CD changer with 2 key clicks at most(1-6 for the
first six and F, 1-6 for the second six). Most others either supported only 10 disks (Sony) or you would have to go "up-and-up" to get to the CD you want -- this is actual case in the Bose system I have in my other car -- really annoying.
The performance is very good, considering that I left "original" Toyota speakers in place.
I have the system for about four years -- no problems whatsoever.
Good things: really cool remote control -- keeps your passengers occupied; ability to store CD titles (does not exist in Bose!), quick CD selection (see above); reliability, very easy user interface; good sound quality; more on CD changer -- since it reads ahead, only severe potholes or rail tracks make it skip.
Lows: really small power button.
