5th Avenue is put out by Hersheys. In my opinion 5th Avenue candy bars are nothing more than a want to be of a Butterfinger candy bar only not as good. The Butterfinger is much softer, more peanut butter flavor, and the chocolate is tastier.
The 5th Avenue Candy Bar, has a crunchy middle, It is very unique is that I can't really explain the crunch. The crunch is sort of waffery type layers held together with I am guessing the hardened corn syrup. Actually it is harder than a sugar waffer. The chocolate doesn't seem to have that Hershey's flair. Normally I love their chocolate combinations. The chocolate on these bars sort of taste a bit waxy. I think it taste a bit stronger than a milk chocolate flavor. I don't think the peanut butter middle matches the chocolate covered coating. The chocolate seems to be much stronger and overpowers the peanut butter. I want more of a peanut butter taste. This bar is lacking.

I think that the 5th Avenue Bar is nothing more than average, and are extremely hard to find fresh. I have had a better bar of this type. I am not impressed, I can take them or leave them.

The 5th Avenue Bar comes in a 2oz bar, and you can also find them in other sizes including the King Size. 5th Avenue comes in a brown packaging, with yellow letters. The 2 oz bar runs about 89 cents at my local convenient store, and sometimes can be found as low as 2 for a dollar in some discount stores.
