gbear147's Full Review: 8x8 DTA-310 IP Video Phone
I am a former Sun rocket customer. Will the pain ever go away? I really needed inexpensive service and boy did I get it with 8x8. I signed up in August. I will most likely be looking for a new carrier within the year. The customer service call waiting time is absolutely horrendous. I doubt the reps are on line that long for the compliments. The voice mail is a little confusing so I suggest using the phone set up instead. The website asks for the # of seconds before the Voice Mail picks up while the phone asks for the # of RINGS. Also when you sign up for the annual package 8x8 charges $4.69 for taxes monthly. They should tell you that before you sign up since this certainly reduces whatever bottom line you think you are getting.
I am very, disappointed with 8x8. I expect to update this review as time goes on. bottom Line is this:
There are some things that Sun rocket did well and some things they obviously did not do well. 8x8 needs to find out what customers liked about SR service and stop resting on 20 yrs of complaints as a history of service in the industry. The customers pay the bills.
