Pros: Great Video Capture card, nice graphics, comparable price, TV tuner
Cons: so-so tech support, poor sound on capture at moments
The Bottom Line: If you are really big into gaming or 3D design, stay away. If you want professional-quality video editing, not for you, otherwise, grab this one up

| evnglion's Full Review: ATI ALL-IN-WONDER RADEON, (32 MB) PCI Video Card |
This is a nice card for most people. It has very good 3D performance, and all the best features of any capture card on the consumer market. ATI, in the past, has had pretty good technical support, and they tend to release new drivers pretty frequently. I am sorry to say that is not the case here. I bought this card, and the sound input was only working in mono, which is unacceptable. I returned it, and swapped it for another of the same cards. This fixed the problem, so I think the first was just a lemon. Then, on this second card, I was having some Windows 2000 issues, and I think they were much more trivial than they turned out to be. I stayed on the phone for about 4 hours with one guy, only to find out that he had no clue what was going on. I think that if I wasn't into computers as much as I am, I would've never fixed it, and I would hate the card. Once running nicely (not to say that getting it there is hard or anything, I just have a weird configuration) it looks very good. i can't say that I would recommend this card to any of the big power gamers, or the hard core video editors. But, if someone wants an all-around package, with gaming capabilities and TV in and out, go for this, its a steal at $200.
