I have had knee and hip pain for the last 15 years it is not a continual pain, but began after a car accident in which I hit a deer( Or I should say a deer hit me and pushed the window crank into my knee)(Yeah it was back when everything mostly had hand crank windows.}
Well I was at my parents and in there pain reliever section I saw ALEVE, Well I figured I would give it a try and boy was I glad I did within 30 minutes It had taken affect and my knee again was bearable.
I went to the local supermarket and purchased a 100 count bottle of tablets which i prefer to the gel caps. The cost was $7.99, for this NAPROXEN SODIUM based product. Each tablet contains 220 MG each of NAPROXEN SODIUM.
On the bottle it states that "some people may find that an initial dose of 2 tablets followed by 1 tablet 12 hours later will give better relief" but do not take more than 3 tablets in 24 hours.
I have found that this combination of 2 then 1 works best for me. But I did try to take 2 then 2 again in 12 hours and found it to make me more irritable than a night with 2 hours sleep and no caffeine. The side affects were headache,upset stomach,dry mouth so be aware please follow the directions on the bottle.

Would I recommend this to friends and family.
Why of course I would this is a great product for pain,toothaches,muscle aches,arthritus,fever,cramps.
Go buy a small bottle then when you need a pain reliever try this you will be glad that you did.
