I purchased these speakers because I REALLY wanted a good setup to listen to MP3s and play 3D Games on. Previously, I just used the cheap pair of speakers that came with my computer, and BOY do these sound better! The sound quality difference is absolutely AMAZING! The bass reproduction is PERFECT, whenever you hear anyone talk, it sounds natural and like they are ACTUALLY IN THE ROOM WITH YOU! I chose these speakers because at the price of $99 from my local Office Max they were a very good bargain. I had read in opinions here and on other websites that they were very high quality. However, when I tested them out in the store they sounded pretty bad. I attribute this to a poor listening environment and very poor sound being fed into them, because even with my cheap soundcard, at home these things are AWESOME! I would definitely recommend these speakers to any value-conscious person looking to buy some speakers.
