toniroger's Full Review: Answer One-Step Pregnancy Test
Recently, after missing my "monthly visitor" I was worried enough to go ahead and purchase a pregnancy kit. So, here I am standing in the aisle of Kmart trying to decide which brand to choose. I quickly eliminated the cheapie brand and zeroed in on Answer and Fact Plus. I decided to go with Answer as they were generous enough to offer a $2.00 coupon off of the twin pack.
Well, I got home and quickly read the instructions. It has only been three years since I had done this last. Trying to aim with this things is a bit interesting, but some good thinking inventor made the control window (where you read the results) on the opposite side of the user window (the area that needs to be soaked with urine to read the results.) That caused me to sigh with relief! You never know how accidental splashes can affect the results! (toniroger blushes)
After reading that the test can be performed anytime of the day after missing our monthly friend, I went ahead and tried out the test that afternoon. Right away I noticed that there was one solid line. Hurray!!! This means no extra blessings for now. (Two lines, even if one is faint, means a positive reading. Positive usually equals baby.)
Happy with the purchase and happy with the results, I went along my merry way with peace of mind. Now that I know I am not expecting, I can be as serene as the ocean on a calm, bright morning!
What I liked:
- Price was competitive, coupons really helped!
- Easy to use test.
- Twin pack has an extra test, in case you want to retest later.
- Instructions were simple and user friendly.
- Result window was easy to use. Two lines= pregnant and one line = not pregnant.
What I did not like:
-Performing the test itself, like any urine specimen is not the greatest adventure in the world. However, I would rather do it at home than at the doctor's office and have to pay for the office visit.
