I have read others opinions on this product, and it seems too many are from people who do not own the Barbie PC! As I sit writing this now I am on the Barbie computer I bought for my girls, ages 7& 9. Since most of the schools are starting the kids on the computer and internet in KIND. or 1st grade, I thought this was perfect!
For $599.00 you will receive a 15 inch monitor, the computer, speakers, keyboard, mouse, mousepad, digital camera, and about 25 cd rom games. To this I also added the Apollo inkjet printer.
We got rid of all our video games, etc. as soon as we got the new computer up and running, which was very simple to do. It's a fast computer with a 56k modem, and the kids were thrilled!
The whole family has gotten much use from this wise purchase and the games are fun and make the kids think and also help them to be creative! My girls especially like that they can make party invites and cards of their own and then print them out! The Math Workshop has fun ways of helping kids with math, from beginning to advanced! All of the games I have played or watched them play are fun and educational in some way.
Another thing is that you can also make monthly payments on this computer if you don't have the total amount in your pocket!You can also upgrade to get a larger monitor and extra axccessories!
I think it is a wonderful product, very affordable, perfect for any little girl who is ready for her first computer!
