| MamaSaid's Full Review: Bath & Body Works Pleasures Body Cream |
I am a Bath and Body Works addict and find their scents to be the best anywhere. Because I am so smitten by their aromatherapy, I continue to seek a great accompanying lotion to my body sprays and soaps. Pleasures is definitely it.
I have very dry skin and have tried a wide variety of products, some recommended by doctors, such as Eucerin and Vaseline Intensive Care. On my own, I have tried Clinique, Lancome and others and spent a bundle for stuff that didn't work and was so smelly it interfered with my fragrance (usually one from Bath and Body Works). I subscribe to their newsletter and home mailing list and when I received a coupon to try Pleasures, I was there.
Pleasures was a great surprise. The products comes in an 8 ounce tube that has a flip top. You can remove the top or squeeze the lotion through the tiny hole in the flip top - I find it gets jammed up in that tiny hole so I just remove the top altogether. I prefer pump lotions so this did not impress me to begin with. However, the product is excellent. It has a creamy yet not overly greasy consistency and absorbs into the skin quickly. With continued use, it has made my skin softer and reduced dry patches. Additionally, it comes in some of my favorite unique scents such as Coconut Lime Verbena, Warm Vanilla, Country Apple and Sunkissed Raspberry.
Overall, this is a terrific product. It really works to soften dry skin and it smells delicious.
