You Will Smell "Delicious" with Bath & Body Works Pleasures Mango Mandarin Body Lotion

There are two Bath & Body Works stores in my area so no matter which side of town I find myself on, it’s always a temptation to walk through those doors into a store full of goodies. For someone like me, who is an acknowledged "scent-a-holic", this place is heavenly torture! So many scented products to choose from! It used to be that when I stepped inside the store I had no plan of action… I’d just walk in (okay I’d run, alright?!) and start sampling. Everything. At once. Now, I’ve grown up a little and I don’t do that "nonsense" anymore. Now I walk in – okay, run! Jeeze! - and I sample almost everything. Selectively. In a slightly grown up way. Like I said… it’s heavenly torture!
Not long ago I went to one of the Bath & Body Works stores to see if I could find some body lotion that was different from what I normally get. Generally, I like to get flowery-scented lotions and bath products… one of my favorite Bath & Body scents is Juniper Breeze. It’s a very relaxing fragrance which is quite lovely and I wear it everyday. But this time I wanted something with a little more "oomph."
What Did I Find?…
I discovered the Pleasures line of products from Bath & Body Works. After smelling several of the very pretty scents, I finally chose Mango Mandarin Pleasures Body Lotion. The bottle states that Mango Mandarin Pleasures body lotion is… "infused with real mango and mandarin orange extracts…" It’s an "Energizing" scent, which was exactly what I was looking for. I bought the lotion for $9.00, so it’s at an affordable price.
This is a generous 8 fl. oz. clear bottle so you can easily see the lotion, which is a very soft and creamy-looking peach color. The front of the bottle shows slices of a mandarin orange and a mango – quite delicious looking. The white cap can be unscrewed from the bottle, and you can also use the press-down top to squeeze out the perfect amount of lotion that you’d like to use.
The lotion is very creamy and it smells so good. The bottle states the aroma as, "luscious, juicy mango and mandarin orange mingle with energizing citrus notes in this mouthwatering fragrance." The true test of a perfectly blended lotion is when you can actually discriminate between the different ingredients, and I can definitely smell both the Mango and the Mandarin scents. It has a slight oriental scent to it, which is absolutely lovely.
How Do I Like it?…
Well, I don’t ‘like’ it; I love it! The Mango Mandarin body lotion smoothes on very well and has a light, silky, smooth feel to it. It absorbs quickly and doesn’t leave a greasy feel behind. It is thick and creamy, and as the bottle states, it’s "energizing." It smells marvelous and since it contains conditioning Aloe Vera, vitamins E & C, and protective grape seed extract, it’s very nourishing for the skin.
I use this lotion primarily on my legs – especially on the backs of my calves – after shaving. I use it on my arms, concentrating on the elbows, which seem to be dry, a lot of the time. I use a small amount on my chest – only because of the pulse point (heart), which allows the scent to rise up and away so that the fragrance can be enjoyed all day. This goes for the tummy area as well. Since this is a body lotion, I don’t really feel that I need to worry that it’s washed off of my hands easily. In my case, I don’t see a real difference in the softness of my hands, but I’m sure this is because the lotion doesn’t stay on my hands very long due to daily work around the house and yard, and the many times that my hands are washed. I don’t use this lotion on my neck – I leave that to my normal cleansing / moisturizing routine.
Depending on where you smooth the lotion on, the scent will stay with you most of the day or night. Those pulse points are a key factor so concentrate on those areas. This is a really great factor for the daytime, considering that this is the "Energizing" scent of the Pleasures line of products. It’s nice to be able to smell the crisp scent whenever it rises up and to feel inspired to keep moving on!

Water, Glycerin, Petrolatum, Cetyl Alcohol, Cetearyl Alcohol, Dimethicone, Fragrance, Ceteareth-20, Aloe Barbadensis Leaf Juice, Mangifera Indica (Mango) Fruit Extract, Citrus Nobilis (Mandarin Orange) Fruit Extract, Macadamia Ternifolia Seed Oil, Tocopheryl Acetate (Vitamin E Acetate, Ascorbic Acid (Vitamin C), Avena Sativa (Oat) Kernel Extract, Vitis Vinifera (Grape) Seed Extract, Pyrus Malus (Apple) Fruit Extract, Propylene Glycol, Carbomer, Sodium Hyroxide, Diazolidinyl Urea, Methylparaben, Propylparaben, Benzyl Alcohol, Tetrasodium EDTA, Disodium EDTA, Yellow 5, Yellow 6, Red 40.
This lotion also contains Naturally Pampering Ingredients that I mentioned earlier – Conditioning aloe vera, Protective grape seed extract, and nourishing vitamins E & C.
Final Thoughts…
I really like the Bath & Body Works Pleasures Mango Mandarin Body Lotion. The scent is delicious, it’s invigorating, and it really is a "pleasure" to wear. It keeps my skin soft and lightly moisturized, and it helps me to feel pretty. That’s always a plus!
Bath & Body Works has so many wonderful scents to choose from, that it’s impossible not to come out with something that you will enjoy wearing.
