Black Diamond's Bod climbing harness is the best harness on the market that I have found. The Bod has some of the largest straps I have seen on a harness. This provides excellent support and distributes the weight of your body over a larger area limiting falling forces. The Bod also sports one of the most comfortable waist straps around. Lightly padded and with a fleece lining, the Bod will not rub you raw around the waist. This harness is so comfortable that I wear it all day, even when going from climb to climb. Another nice option is your choice of color. You get to pick your favorite!
The Bod comes in two different designs. The original Bod, as described above, and the Alpine Bod. The Alpine Bod is a mountaineering harness and is designed to be worn over bulky snow clothing. It has no cushioning around the waist and the straps all around are smaller. Both are fantastic harnesses and I highly recomend either one depending on what you will be using it for.
