| HydroPupy's Full Review: Black Diamond Bod |
The Black Diamond Bod harness is definently an excellent beginners harness as well as excellent for climbers of all skill levels. The harness is best used with a top rope belay, for its not too comfortable when you fall 10 feet and it catches you. The Black Diamond Bod, and Alpine Bod are almost the same harness, but i recommend spending the extra 20 dollars to get the Bod over the Alpine Bod. The Bod has a padded waist, and thick leg straps whereas the Alpine Bod was designed to be lightweight for long expiditions where climbing might be necesarry for short distances. It wasnt designed for comfort and entire days of climbing with repeated falls. I have used my harness primarilly for indoor climbing. For the two years that i have had my harness, it has held up wonderfully. I definently recommend this harness to any and all interested shoppers out there.
