justcoldie's Full Review: Janet Evanovich - Plum Lucky
This newly released novel is another of Janet Evanovich's holiday books. Evanovich always highlights her books with humor and you will find yourself laughing out loud. Even though this book is only 166 pages long it is jammed full. Without giving away the book once again Stephanie Plum is into another mess only this time she is trying to find Grandma Mazur.
The mysterious Diesel has appeared in Stephanies apartment when her mother calls to tell her that her Grandmother is missing and since she looks for people for a living being a bounty hunter she wants her to find her Grandmother. Stephanie wonders if this has anything to do with the big bag that she saw Grandma fighting with the little man in green pants over. After looking through Grandma Mazurs room she finds a brochure for Daffys Hotel and Casino in Atlantic City. She tells her mother that she will check it out and let her know. After leaving her parents house she goes to the office to see if Connie and/or Lula want to tag along with her. The both agree to and the adventure begins.
Once in Atlantic City they do find Grandma along with a few new problems. Grandma has a big bag and a man with her. The man is Briggs and he is guarding what ever is in the bag. They learn that when Grandma left the bakery she saw a rainbow and tripped over the bag which she now felt was hers fair and square. She purchased a Winnebago and enlisted the help of Briggs to drive it for her.
As the story unfolds it has many twists, turns and laughs galore. Each page bringing new turns and characters to the story. Even though this book is so few in pages it is big on story!
