One of the things I hated most about wearing hard (gas permeable) contact lenses was the amount of time and money I spent keeping them clean and comfortable. Usually this entailed buying three different types of solutions: a cleaning solution, a storage solution, and rewetting drops. Each of these bottles ran about five to ten dollars each. At night I had to spend 2 minutes cleaning the contacts in one solution, and then store them in a separate solution in their cases. Boston Simplicity, as the name implies, attempts to reduce the amount of money and time you spend on keeping your contacts in good condition.
For awhile, when I was running low on money, I ritualistically purchased the cheapest contact solutions I could find. I can't emphasize this enough: quality does matter when you're talking contact solutions! In the morning when I put on my contact lenses, I could feel the difference in my eyes when I used a cheaper solution to clean or soak my contacts. Avoiding the pain became worth the extra money spent on the nicer solutions. My favorite brand slowly became Boston.
The Simplicity solution is a remarkable solution in that it acts as both a cleaning, storage, and remoisturizing solution. Basically three bottles worth of junk combined into one. Now this does make me kind of suspicious that before I was paying for three bottles of things that were essentially the same ingredients; however, once I realized how comfortable my eyes were after using Boston Simplicity, all bitter thoughts disappeared. Even on busy nights or nights of travelling, where I basically had to throw my contacts into their cases with no propper cleaning. A night of soaking in Simplicity made them feel just as fresh and clean as if I had cleaned them the night before. Definitely a superior product.
