Pros: Easy to clean, perfect for cloth diaper beginners.
Cons: Not that much color selection. Expensive $$$!
The Bottom Line: I love these diapers and preach about them to anyone who is willing to listen. Cloth diapering is so much easy, I don't think I could've done it without these.

| silly129's Full Review: Bum Genius Blossom Cloth Diaper |
I've always wanted to use cloth diapers since I was pregnant, but was afraid my hectic schedule will not permit me to do so. I used disposables with my son the first six months, but always felt so guilty every time I threw one in the trash since I knew it would go to the landfill and take hundreds of years to decompose.
So after endless research I decided to switch to cloth and from the reviews on the internet I decided to buy Bum Genius 3.0. I did not even sample this first, I bought 18 diapers and threw them all in the wash because I was determined to stick to it!
What I love most about these diapers is that they are one size, meaning the diaper is adjustable as your child grows. It basically has three settings that are adjusted by the front snaps, and it can accommodate newborn babies since the front can fold down. The diaper claims to fit 7-35 lbs, I started when my son was 17 lbs and he was on the medium snaps.
These are pocket diapers, so you will need to "stuff" them with inserts prior to use. The diapers come with two inserts, one that is adjustable to the size you are using, and one newborn size that is a bit smaller and thinner. I actually use the newborn size in addition to the regular insert at night, so that it can provide additional absorbency through the night. The inserts are very absorbent, sometimes I use the newborns during the day since the regular inserts are super absorbent (think overnight maxi pads).
Cleanup is so easy, you just have to make sure that you use the laundry tabs on the back of the diaper so that the velcro does not tangle in the wash. I usually hang dry, and these dry up within hours.
Update 8/4/08: After 4 months of using the BumGenius diapers, I'm still 100% satisfied! The velcro closure has helped with my potty training efforts since I can remove diapers in less than 2 seconds.
