I adopted my dog as a puppy. With time, he grew to be over 100 lbs. He is a lab mix. From the time he was a baby, he had Demodectic Mange - a type of mange that they say is hereditary. This resulted in loss of fur and red, raw areas. We went through periods where it was worse sometimes and then better. Always trying new shampoos and toxic, expensive medicines. About 3 months ago, it was really bad. He is 8 years old now, so I was worried. His whole hind area was almost bald and he had red wounds from scratching. Along with black fur all over my house and a layer of dead skin that would settle everywhere. It was nasty. Plus, he was really uncomfortable. So, my roomate was at work one day and explained this situation to a nice woman who had previously worked at an animal clinic. She told her to buy California Naturals for him, that it would work. I went and got it at the local pet food warehouse even though it was pretty pricey but I still had reservations and didn't expect a miracle transformation. Well, let me tell you. It was worth it! He is healed completely. No more red sores, no more baldness, no more scratching, no more shedding and the fleas are all gone. I have my boy back!!! A friend came over the other day and said he has more energy and looks better than her dog who is 5 years younger. She was shocked. I also put my 1 1/2 yr. old cat who was covered with fleas from the dog, on the food. She also had sores on the back of her neck from scratching so much. Now, she doesn't have a flea on her. She looks so young and beautiful. This food is amazing. It's so good that it scares me to think of what they put in the usual, cheaper food and why they put it there. Thank God for California Natural.
