I must confess that I do not own a CSW Microworks system. I purchased the CSW Digital Desktop Theater simply because I wanted a home theater experience. I highly recommend that system (read my review), by the way. However, my roommate last year had a Microworks system, and I must say that even now when I'm immersed in the best multimedia surround sound available for a computer, I miss his setup.

CSW Microworks is still the best sounding system I've heard. It's a two satellite subwoofer combo with no surround sound capability, but if you're simply a music lover who deals mostly in stereo, you can't beat Microworks. The subwoofer outclasses the Digital Desktop theater's by a long shot, and the clarity in the highs are beautiful. If you're an audiophile who can do without the surround experience, put your money into a Microworks.
