I bought this camera because of the tiny size. When I bought it 2 years ago I was amazed at how small a camera it was. Not only is it small but it used the new APS film. I though I was on the tip of the ice berg as far as cameras went. But when I brought it home and took pictures of my friends and I, I was sadly dissapointed with the picture quality. Yes while small the pictures the cannon elph takes are sadly low quality. The lighting never seems to be right. Its either too much light or too little light. I paid $299 for this camera, I was going to return it but for some reason I never got around to it. The camera does have its uses though, its very easy to just slip in your pocket and bring it to events so that you can take pictures of your parties or whatever you goto. It seems to very rugged and is made out of aluminum, but what baffles me is that the lens cover is made of plastic. The camera it self has many features including back light flash, red eye flash, etc.. The most useless of which is the banners that you can place accros your pictures.(These say things like happy birhtday, happy new year etc...) Yes its small, yes its expensive, but damn it looks sleek and sexy, while picture quality is low this little camera has saved many a memory for me in times where I wouldn't of brought a camera because of the bulk.
