Hiya Julie,
Sometimes I feel like I'm talking to myself when I'm writing back to you. :)

Anyway, I wear glasses, thick glasses, all the time. So, my eyes are protected. But, thank you for your concern.

The thorns didn't go through the welding gloves. They snagged the gloves deep enough to pull them off my arms when I tried to bully a couple of huge canes out of the trellis. This is definitely not a rose that takes well to being bullied.

Thanks for the r/r/c!

Julie

Climbing roses are so beautiful. I'm glad you've had such success with this one.

Those thorns sound brutal! I'm sorry you got hurt. How in the world did the thorns go through welder's gloves???? Too bad about your backside (oops!), but I'm really concerned about your eyes. I hope you wear safety glasses if you must deal with this beautiful beast.

Fantastic review!

Julie :)
