Pros: Extremely well made, lots of storage room
Cons: Expensive. Big, bulky, heavy (which is what you really want)
The Bottom Line: Heavy duty, extremely well made. I'd buy again if I had to do it all over. If you want to protect your golf clubs on airlines, this is for you

| g_dubya's Full Review: Club Glove Last Bag Golf Travel Cover |
Last weekend my wife and I flew up to my mother in law's house to play golf. The last time we flew with golf clubs, we borrowed a friend's hard travel case. Unfortunately it wouldn't fit in the trunk of the rental car, so this time I decided to buy my own golf club travel case.
After some research, I decided it needed to be a soft case, well padded, skateboard wheels, and well made. I looked at several brands, talked to some folks, and found Club Glove had the best product. I also looked at the Bag Boy and Callaway soft travel covers, but they were either more money (Callaway) and/or not as well made, less roomy, and not as well padded. So I bought the Club Glove Last Bag.
If you want something that screams "expensive golf clubs" here, then this is not the right bag for you. It's understated appearance is simple, straightfoward and well thought out. There are two lockable outside zipper pockets, and a large zipper that goes the whole length of the bag. It's so basic looking I didn't even realize the outside zippers locked until I was on my way home.
There's lots of room for any size golf bag on the inside, as well as plenty of room to throw in golf shoes, sweatshirts, dirty laundry and almost anything else you want. Zip it up and lock it, then tighten the three outside straps, and you're ready to travel.
The bag had no trouble fitting in the trunk of our rental cars (Ford Taurus, Nissan Altima), which is more than I can say for the hard case I used before. The bag can be bulky and heavy when fully packed (my fault as much as anything, because I decided to shove lots of stuff in the Club Glove bag instead of my carry on), but it's certainly manageable. With wheels, it's very easy to navigate through airports.
In the short time I've had the bag, I have found nothing to complain about. If I travelled all the time and was making a lot of connecting flights where the bag would be handled more along the way, I'd take another look at some of the hard cases. But I'm not sure I still wouldn't go for the Club Glove Last Bag.
