| gdwtch22's Full Review: Coppertone Water For Baby |
My oldest son has Occulotaneous Albinism, which is basically his skin and hair have practically no pigment in them at all. It's really important that we protect his skin. His pediatrician prescribed a sunscreen with 65 SPF or better. Let me tell you it's no easy thing trying to find a SPF better than 35. After searching and searching I finally found a bottle at a pharmacy. SPF 70 Coppertone water babies. I have to apply it to my sons face, neck, arms, ears, and top of his head daily. I have been doing this for almost four years now, and though he is outdoors almost all the time, he has never had a sun burn. The smell is pleasant enough, it's easy to apply, and stays on well too. I usually only have to reapply it after he has played in the water for an hour or more. It hasn't caused any sort of allergic reaction on my son thus far. As with any sun screen if you get it in your child's eyes it's going to hurt, and this sunscreen is no exception. The price is reasonable, and anyone who needs a higher SPF should use it.
