Pros: Storage works as promised, sound is good
Cons: big, big, big, not much bundled with it, scratches easy, no USB 2.0
The Bottom Line: Delivers the goods, but does it need to be so big?

| discsid's Full Review: Creative Technology Nomad Jukebox (20 GB) MP3 Play... |
I did lots of research before pulling the trigger on a JB3. Paid about $220 delivered, after rebate. Sounds great, the transfer works as promised (although it would be nice if it were recognized as a hard drive instead of needing to be accessed through special software), and the battery life is good. The big problem is the size. This thing is big, bigger than a discman. All my MP3 players before now have been smaller (YEPP32MB, RioOne), so I was surprised at how big it is, and how quickly it scratches up. (If you use it while on the move, you'll want to buy a case for it, and perhaps the remote.) The Archos Jukebox may be a better choice for comparable money for those who want to move around a lot.
