The best thing about the Cupcake Cafe is their frosting. It's like eating flavored butter. It's that rich and good. Cupcake Cafe features amazing baked goods and pretty good coffee. Whenever I'm in Hell's Kitchen, I always stop in for a cupcake with chocolate frosting. they also have cakes, pies and they make homemade donuts in interesting flavors like maple and pumpkin. All the bakery treats are handmade on the premises and taste like they were made with lots of love. The presentation here is excellent too. The cakes are decorated beautifully, and I think this is a major part of their business. It is a nice place to sit down, with raw wood floors and informal tables and chairs. I've eaten their soups and sandwiches, and although they are a bit pricey for this neighborhood, they are good too..
