I can't agree with you because if you check, you can see she does more than talk on the songs, she produces most or has a little rap in most of the songs she's in.

I dont agree with your comment, because If she didnt want to be on the album, I dont think she would and plus, if you look back, Missy was on "The Writings On The Wall" and now "Dangerously In love, and then in turn Beyonce was on Missy's last two cdz.

Your review was cool. I thought your review on most of the songs were real accurate but I think you should have explained more on why you didnt like those three songs you didn't like.

I love Kelly, too. I can't wait to see her in Freddy vs. Jason; and the song w/Nelly was good, even if the album wasn't.

sorry - never claimed to be an expert an R&B, just a lover of music. and i was NOT saying that in any way to mar the legacy of the supremes as a group, i think if you asked the AVERAGE person if they could name the other 2 - they would not be able to and since i was born in 1978, that pretty much leaves me out of much of the 70's. contemporary music is much more my flavor - but thanks for stopping by.

Thank you Steven. Anyone who REALLY knows about r&b music and Motown should know the names of the other two Supremes. Sadly, only one of the original two is still alive. I'm a sucker for old school music..............

I don't have the album yet, but I went and downloaded the songs,'Baby Boy', 'Speechless' and 'Me, Myself & I'. Me, Myself & I is hot!!!! I love it! I hope she makes it the next single. The other 2 are ok. Baby Boy is generic and Speechless is too slow. Great review! I just might buy it.

He tries to rhyme beret and set on "Crazy In Love." The song with Pharrell is called "Frontin" from the "Clones" CD (which I know you'll be getting considering how much you love the Neptunes; *ahem*).
And I took that Beyonce, but I haven't listened to it yet. I'll be sure to let you know how wack...er, let you know what I think of it when I do.

Have you heard the new Pharell/Jay-Z? Someone should tell your boy that "nonchalant" and "audience" don't rhyme. Same for "beret" and "set."
There is a promotional copy of this at my store and no one wants it. I might take it tomorrow, though, since you and Mike like it.

It was Mary Wilson and Florence Ballard. Ballard left some time in the mid-60s due to substance abuse and Diana's ego and was replaced by Cindy Songbird where it was then labeled as Diana Ross & the Supremes.

I think Flo drank herself to death, and then Cindy replaced her. Or it might be the other way around. It sucked to be a Supreme, especially if you weren't Diana.
Great review. I've been a closet fan of DC for awhile, (though I really like Kelly the best) and I'm really looking forward to hearing B.
