by Gr8ful, Gr8ful is a Lead on Epinions in Computer Hardware
Some AGP cards require that you remove all your old drives and install the card, then let windows load default PCI video drives for the card before you install the software. I had that same problem with the Iomega TNT2 M64 video card. Once I had tried it this way it worked fine and no more lock ups. It is a pain-in-the-butt to get it configured correctly but once you do you'll find that you got a descent card.
