Pros: Friendly and honest staff. Large spacious rooms.

Cons: No longer operating as Dolphin Square Hotel as of May 2006.

Dolphin Square Hotel was my home in London at least one week a year. In my February 2006 stay, I received two bills for consecutive stays. The staff informed me that the Dolphin had been sold so one bill for my time with the old owner and another for the new owner. Local people were upset with the change as it also affected the Dolphin Square Apartments which had had some sort of limit on rents.

On the way to the airport, the taxi cap driver mentioned that a review of the charter of Dolphin Square revealed that Dolphin Square had been operating illegally as hotel.

Later on in the spring, I received an email that they were closing the hotel and could no longer accept reservations.
