Opinion Summary
Parker to Spenser to Burke...
by baylink | Jul 12 '04
Pros: A nice slice of baseball history, wrapped around a good story.
Cons: I dunno; I'll come back and edit later if I think of any. :-)

I could do without Sunny Randall. Those novels are so contrived. I prefer Spenser and Jesse Stone.

Not having read any of the books you are talking about, not knowing who any of these characters are, made this review less than helpful for me. I mostly had no idea what you were talking about.

A review needs to be able to stand on its own without expecting the reader to have knowlege of prior work by the author. Should you choose to re-work this review, please send me an e-mail so I can give it another look.
