This could have been a good arcade racer, and it certainly has
a certain appeal. But without traffic it's a poor man's
Need For Speed with annoying physics, a control system that
is nowhere responsive enough; with traffic that suddenly pops
into view and that is nearly invisible in tunnels it's way too
frustrating. And graphically, it's not really in the same league
as NFS3 or NFS4. A minor problem I had: in some cars your
competition is so loud that you don't hear your own engine. For
a manual transmission fanatic like me this was very annoying.
Everything looks grainy, there's not a single "wow" moment.
Get NFS3/4 instead.
