amalou's Full Review: Elizabeth Arden Eight Hour Cream Skin Protectant
I've heard a lot of glowing reports about this cream so I eventually went ahead and got some. It is quite a thick, greasy cream with a pungent smell, and it doesn't go on too easily but you're willing to give it the benefit of the doubt because it's Elizabeth Arden. However, when I woke up the next morning, my skin (which is dry and very sensitive) was red, itchy and sore, and really quite uncomfortable. I'm not saying that everyone would have such an adverse reaction, but I think if you are quite prone to reacting to skin products, this might be one to avoid, as it's probably too rich for your skin. As I say, I'm not telling everyone to avoid it, I just wanted to warn those of you like myself, that it's likely to be unsuitable for extremely sensitive skin.
