Pros: Deepens an existing tan. Nice fragrance.
Cons: Have to be absolutely thorough and careful about application to get an even tan.
The Bottom Line: Not good for very light skin, but darkens an existing tan well. There are better, and cheaper products available.

| canuckyeti's Full Review: EstÉE Lauder Self Action Tanning Creme |
I have to start by telling you I've tried about 6 different self tanners. This product doesn't impress me terribly, especially considering the heftier pricetag.
I found Estee Lauder's Self Action Tanning Creme too thick to spread evenly and well, resulting in a streaky and sometimes smeared tan. It darkens an existing tan well, mind you, and thusly, streaks don't show as much then.
The thick creme is more easily applied when your skin is wet, and does best when applied when you're right out of the shower or bath. Exercise caution around 'wrinkly' areas like elbows and knees, the creme tends to collect more heavily there, and will darken considerably more than the rest of the treated areas. The obtainable color is noticable in 2-4 hours, similar to other products.
As with other self tanners, ensure you exfoliate with a rough washcloth or loofah for the best results. (You'll also notice that your tan will last longer if you do).
Expect to have to reapply to keep your maintenance tan every 4-5 days.
One tube supplies approx. 12-14 applications. Do note, the color is probably too dark to apply to your face, although Estee Lauder does market another self tanner specifically for the facial area.
If you're interested, I have rated another tanner that I LOVE, Clinique's Self Tanning Body Mist.
