Pros: A little goes a long way; leaves skin feeling smooth and soft.
Cons: VERY expensive in price; no noticeable difference with one week's use.
The Bottom Line: For the price, this Estee Lauder Perfectionist Correcting Serum for Fine Lines/Wrinkles should provide amazing results!! But not for me :-(

A few months back, I picked up some of my favorite moisturizer, Estee Lauder Clear Difference Oil Control Hydrator, at my local Estee Lauder counter as they were offering a special GWP bag and I love free stuff, especially Beauty care stuff!! Inside was a generous sized sample (.17 ounce/5ml) of this Estee Lauder Perfectionist Correcting Serum for Lines/Wrinkles, which I'd been wanting to try since it's introduction since I loved Estee Lauder Idealist Skin Refinisher so much. Because this special skin care product is VERY expensive in price, however, I did not want to take the plunge and fork over some serious cash without giving it a try first. I have serious issues with my skin as it can get oily and prone to breakouts at times (but is MUCH better now that I took generic Accutane for 6 months last year). But I'm SO glad now that I received this sample as it sure did save me some money. Read on to find out more about this severely overpriced anti-aging serum and my one week experience with it.

The skin care product itself is creamy white in color and is quite thick in texture, so a little bit goes a long way. It does nothing for large pores, however, so to me Idealist is a much better investment for my particular skin type.

Whew!! That sure is an impressive amount of hype for one skin care product to live up to. Almost TOO much, if you ask me. Yet for those with the right skin type, investing in this Estee Lauder Perfectionist Correcting Serum for Lines/Wrinkles just might be worth the high price. But since large pores are more of a problem for me than fine lines or wrinkles are, this product did little to improve my skin's appearance with one week of daily use.

If you just can't resist giving this Estee Lauder Perfectionist Correcting Serum for Fine Lines/Wrinkles a try after reading about the amazing claims listed above, then request a small sample from your local Estee Lauder representative at your favorite fine department store to see if it works for you. Or go online to popular Beauty product sites such as gloss.com and fork over $52.00 (!!!) for a mere 1 ounce (30 ml) pump bottle of this overpriced skin care item (or $78.00 for the 1.7 ounce size). Because the anti-aging serum is so concentrated, it will no doubt last a very long time, yet $50 is easily a whole day's wages for some people! The built in pump container is lavender in color with silver and gold trim and features the fancy Estee Lauder high end department store logo. Even the smaller sample size has a pump dispenser on it, which is simple and convenient to use while decreasing the chance of wasting the very expensive contents found within. But only serious Beauty product collectors with lots of cash to spare would be the only people I'd recommend this Estee Lauder Perfectionist Correcting Serum for Fine Lines/Wrinkles to. And mature ones at that :-)
~~~My Experience~~~
Using this Estee Lauder Perfectionist Correcting Serum for Fine Lines/Wrinkles is easy. According to the directions for use: Apply after cleansing, paying particular attention to your deepest wrinkles. Use AM and PM. Follow with your moisturizer as desired. When using Perfectionist with another Anti-Aging/Repair formula, apply it as the last step before your Moisturizer. This silky anti-aging product glides on easily and it only takes a few pumps to completely cover the entire face. It absorbs almost too quickly, though, (before you can get it evenly spread out) yet leaves the skin feeling soft and smooth with and almost matte like finish. So it requires virtually no drying time at all before applying moisturizer or foundation next. Of course if those fine lines only appear on certain areas, then one could easily use this skin care product sparing where needed to make it last longer. Most of my lines are forming in the eye area, so I use special eye creams/gels for mine. So while I didn't see the noticeable improvements in the first week as promised when using this Estee Lauder Perfectionist Correcting Serum for Fine Lines/Wrinkles, there were no negative side effects such as increased oiliness or breakouts experienced either.

The beautiful woman with the flawless skin in magazine and television ads featuring this Estee Lauder Perfectionist Correcting Serum for Fine Lines/Wrinkles just might make purchasing one of their newest anti-aging products nearly irresistible. Yet I urge you to at least try a sample out first as I did just to make sure you will be happy with your investment. Sure, many higher quality department store products are easily worth the price, but over $50 is a great amount of money to spend on just one product for a good percentage of Beauty shoppers in my opinion! Women with aging skin more on the dry side would probably benefit the most as this product is advertised to correct fine lines and not to prevent them. So in conclusion, I really did like the way this Estee Lauder Perfectionist Correcting Serum for Fine Lines/Wrinkles smoothed out my face, but I just can't justify the price as the average woman's skin care budget would be busted in no time.
