melissasrn's Full Review: Estée Lauder Estee Lauder Perfectly Clean Spl...
A few months back, I received a sample of this Estee Lauder Perfectly Clean Splash Away Foaming Cleanser with an online order of Beauty products and was really impressed with how well it cleansed my skin. I'm always on a quest to try out new and improved skin care products, so my addiction often gets the best of me (or my pocketbook, I should say!). But once my sample was gone, I quickly purchased a full sized bottle for one main reason: this cleanser truly does foam generously as stated in it's title (which isn't always so with other cleansers!), so the luxurious lather grabbed my attention and had me hooked from the very first try. And although I normally purchase cleansers designed for oily skin instead, this one works really well for me and hasn't caused one breakout yet! Read on to find out more about this new facial cleanser that is designed for people with normal/combo skin types.
~~~The Facial Cleanser~~~
This new Estee Lauder Perfectly Clean Splash Away Foaming Cleanser is a relatively new product in a new line of products created for those with normal/combination skin (there's also a "light lotion cleanser" as well as a "fresh balancing lotion" in the Perfectly Clean line). According to product advertising this cleanser is a soothing new sensation for normal/combination skin. Deliciously refreshing foam gently yet thoroughly cleans and rebalances skin. Splashes away with no soapy film, no trace of impurities. Perfectly Clean formulas provide the perfect balance for your skin, with light hydrators and a conditioning botanical blend. By gently managing oily zones while soothing dry areas, they leave skin feeling renewed, comfortable, healthy...Perfectly Clean. The cleanser itself is creamy white in color, is very concentrated, and has a fresh clean scent that's slightly "perfumey" but is still pleasant nonetheless. All it takes is a tiny pea sized amount to create LOTS of foamy lather all over the face. And even though it's gentle and doesn't irritate my skin at all, this cleanser cuts right through make-up and removes all traces along with excess dirt and oil at the same time. So I'm very happy that this Estee Lauder Perfectly Clean Splash Away Foaming Cleanser actually does what it says it will: it truly foams!
~~~Packaging, Price, & Availability~~~
Pick up a lilac colored 4.2 ounce (125 ml) squeeze bottle of this Estee Lauder Perfectly Clean Splash Away Foaming Cleanser at the Estee Lauder counter of your favorite fine department store or online at places like esteelauder.com and gloss.com for $18.50 each. The tall container featuring gold colored trim rests upright on the flip-top lid, so it's convenient to use at the sink or in the shower. And while 4.2 ounces doesn't sound like much product for the money, trust me when I say a tiny bit goes a long way! In fact, it's actually very easy to use too much every time as a small amount will produce tons of foam once you add water. So for the price (even though it seems expensive initially), I feel like I'm getting my money's worth when purchasing this Estee Lauder Perfectly Clean Splash Away Foaming Cleanser as I plan on getting several months use out of it before having to buy more.
~~~Product Experience~~~
Using this new Estee Lauder Perfectly Clean Splash Away Foaming Cleanser is simple according to the directions for use: Lather up a small amount with wet hands. Massage all over face with circular movements. Rinse with warm water. Use twice a day, AM and PM. Follow with Perfectly Clean Fresh Balancing Lotion, then your anti-aging/repair formula and moisturizer as desired. Being careful to squeeze out only a tiny amount, I apply this creamy white cleanser to my wet face and lots of bubbles and foam is created almost immediately. Hurray! I finally found a foaming cleanser that really DOES lather well! The scent is luxuriously pleasant yet not overpowering as it's clean and light. And once it's time to rinse, the lather washes clean away and my skin almost feels squeaky clean afterward, but not dry or tight though. And there's no oily residue left behind, either. Of course there's no acne fighting ingredients for those that require them in a cleanser, especially oily skin types, but I'm really surprised at just how clean my pores are when I use this skin care product. So now that I've found this Estee Lauder Perfectly Clean Splash Away Foaming Cleanser, I plan on purchasing it again and again.
