Great Plastic Alternative

Pros: No leaching chemicals. Easy to clean and disinfect. Cheaper than plastic, last longer. Doesn't leak.

Cons: Might break, but surprisingly difficult to do so. Hard to find.

I bought these glass bottles for my son after reading about the potentially harmful effects of the chemicals in most plastic/polycarbonate baby bottles. These chemicals can leach, especially when the bottles are heated. I find the glass bottles easy to clean, last forever, and don't scratch or leak. My son has dropped them onto our hard wood floors and they haven't broken. One did break when it was thrown onto our ceramic tile floor from about 6 feet high.

They're also economical. Three bottles have lasted me nearly three years, and I just had to buy replacement nipples a couple of times.
