Our son was born in December and so he accumulated quite a few gifts this year for Christmas, one of which was the peaceful-planet aquarium. We hadn't gotten batteries for it until about two weeks ago and boy am I kicking myself for not getting them sooner!
My son is now four months old and he is very alert and active for his age. We've tried a lot of things to make him comfortable in his crib but he quickly became uninterested in them. Not this, he loves to watch the waves on the ceiling at night and if I turn the light setting he can also watch the two fish in the front.
A few mornings ago he started to fuss upon waking and I though that I would try just turning on the fish for him with the music on also. He loved it, he lay there and watched it for quite a while and opps... I fell back asleep for a little longer.
As a parent I can use all the sleep I can get!
