Pros: EVERYTHING!!!!! Staff most particularly
Cons: I personnaly say none. Some would say price.
The Bottom Line: The hotel is a real inn, with all the amenities and service. The staff however sets them apart.

| pdcshotgun's Full Review: Four Seasons Las Vegas |
We go to Vegas a lot. A very lot. Needless to say, we consider ourselves strip hotel experts. Therefor it surprised me that we hadn't stayed at the Four Seasons until now. And from now on, we're not staying anywhere else. The Four Seasons is the way inn keeping should be around the world. It's just that good.
RESERVATIONS: You'll get a little surprise at reservations. Their staff is just as nice as other reservations staff, however, they don't take your credit card. Because we were in a "specialty" suite, we were called back three weeks after the initial reservation to discuss room guarantees. They also asked if there was anything special we needed in the room, such as extra phones, dvd players, stocked bar, etc. Try getting that elsewhere on the strip.
VALET CHECK IN: Okay, so the Four Seasons is connected to, and sits next to and on top of Mandalay Bay. Driving in, the driveway is a little confusing, but once you navigate the maze and pull up to the door, even at 2 am, the service is superb. No waiting for either the valet, or the bellman.
CHECK IN DESK: So you've been to vegas, you've stood in the line, and you've had a map pushed at you, right? Not at the four seasons. Keys were not pushed across the desk. The gentlemen came around the desk, handed me the keys, gave us a tour of their lobby and ameneties on the ground floor and directed us to the elevators. Ever wonder why other hotels make you call up for your bags once you're in the room? So did the Four Seasons, at check in, give them the baggage ticket and they'll order your bags up. Cuts down on a LOT of time waiting for bags.
THE ROOM: As noted above we had a specialty suite, basically two king bedrooms with a common living room and dining room in between. So, there were only three televisions. So you couldn't watch the shark television like you can at The Hotel and Mandalay Bay. But hey, there was a hand written card greeting us to our room, a customized letter on a stack of fax cover sheets, and a host of other amenities including 1 hour pressing service, 24 hour laundry, papers of your choice, breakfast order cards to put out the night before, and complimentary shoe shine. The bed were comfortable, I didn't have to ask for more pillows, and the duvet was just delicious.
THE BATHROOM: I generally rate the bathroom separately because you can have a wonderful room, and an aweful bathroom. The bathroom at the Four Seasons didn't disapoint. It had the typical Toilet Closet with phone. The master bedroom had a double sink, tub, and a large shower with EXCELLENT water pressure. The toilet happened to have the same water pressure and as a result sounded like it was flushing the whole suite when you pushed the handle. The tub is not as deep as The Hotel. It is however stocked with several goodies from the Spa at the Four Seasons to make your bath an enjoyable experience.
The junior bedroom had a single sink, a smaller shower stall, but otherwise was the same.
THE CLOSET: I usually don't rate closets. The fact that I am, should tell you something. The master closet is located directly across from the bathroom. It is stocked with plenty of hanging space, plenty of REAL hangers, and even satin covered ladies hangers. The shoe horn came home with us as it was one that you didn't have to bend down to use. It had only three drawers which was a slight drawback, a safe, an ironing board and iron (for those who didn't want to wait an hour) slippers for two, and TWO count them TWO suitcase racks as well as a padded bench.
The junior bedrooms closets were set next to the mini bar and were not walk in style. They did have more drawers however.
THE CASINO: The Four Seasons does not have a casino, instead there is a little secret door between the elevators on the casino level and Mandalay Bay. Leave the little sitting room, and voila, all the bling bling of Vegas Baby. Ready to leave the mayhem behind? Back through the little secret door and you're in a sea of tranquility.
THE POOL: The pool is very nice, and for a labor day weekend, wasn't overly crowded. We didn't use the pool much, just took a look around. The staff was very courteous and was seeing to guests every need including sunblock on a platter for one burning guest.
THE SPA: You actually have three spas to hit, the Spa at the Four Seasons (reservations recommended two weeks in advance, more for a Holiday Weekend. I couldn't get in.) The Spa At Mandalay Bay, and the Bathhouse Spa at The Hotel. Can't get into one, check the other two. They are all top notch.
Sounds good, yes? It gets better. What really sets the Four Seasons apart is the staff. The concierge was able to get dinner reservations last minute, was able to send up a mending kit and duct tape within 5 minutes to fix a major wardrobe malfunction, and that was just during our stay. The real miracles the staff pulled off happened as we were attempting to leave.
WHAT HAPPENED: The valet brought our car around, the bellman helped load the car, we all got in with cold bottled water provided by the staff, and we turned the key over. Woops! Run flat says we have a flat! The "men" of our group get out and start inspecting. Knowing the men in our group, I went back inside and explained the problem to the concierge. Within minutes she had a service truck on the way. But oh wait, it'll be up to an hour. Well, not to worry. We explained to the valet the problem, he left the car in front, and we went and had breakfast at the Veranda overlooking the serene pool.
The service truck arrives, the valet brings me the paperwork to sign, no need to interrupt my breakfast at all! But I was finished, so it was outside I went to talk with the serviceman. Well, the problem was more than one bad tire, but two. He recommended not driving the desert on them. The valet took it from there. He went to the concierge, explained the ongoing problem, and between the two of them, had a tire store waiting for us with the correct tire on a Holiday. Serviceman puts a bandaid on the problem, valet gives us map, contact information, directions, and more cold water and waves us away.
Arriving at the tire store, they get everything fixed and get us on our way about two hours later (after a little shopping at the mall next door.)
First of all, meet a valet that will work with you, help you solve the problem, suggest you eat breakfast while you wait, and even comes to get us in the cafe???? The only place on the strip is the Four Seasons.
Second of all, meet a valet who will let your car sit out front? Not unless you drive an expensive custom car and tip really really well.
Third, meet a concierge staff who doesn't just help with show tickets and reservations, but takes interest in the problem and pulls out all the stops to fix it.
The staff went so far as to ask how to pronouce our difficult name, and then once they had the pronounciation, every member had it down? Even housekeeping called us by name.
Don't get me wrong, you will pay for the service. But it is worth every penny of the room, tips, gambling, shopping, and food you spent. To give you a measure of how good it is, my husband is a workaholic. He can't stand more than three days in Vegas. But he wanted to stay "just another day" because he was so relaxed. Even all the tire problems were only a small hiccup at the Four Seasons. At another hotel, it would be grounds for divorce.
