Frigidaire & what I think

Pros: None.  Waste of money and patience.

Cons: Noisy, windy, no fresh air flow.

The Bottom Line: Is not worth buying. Very loud noise due to excessive fan speed. Bigger fan and smaller speed is a must plus fresh air vent.

I do not know who is a manufacturer of Frigidaire A/Cs or especially who is a design engineer of this and other air conditioners from Frigidaire but I must say that he must be a total ignorant in mechanical engineering design and thermodynamic disciplines.  I am asking where those engineers obtained their engineering degrees?  Probably milking cows in village barns.  These A/Cs are working so loudly that I have to shut it down before I go to bed because I would not be able to sleep. I do not care this product carries Energy saving certificate if is so inconvenient in use. 

There is nothing better in design of air conditioners then two things; The first is a quiet operation at all fan speed levels.  The second is an inflow of fresh air called by some air vent.  Only then I would be happy. Frigidaires have fan drums of unusually small diameters so to achieve proper amount of cooled air per minute their speed (RPM) is extremely HIGH. That creates terrible noise even at the lowest speed.  When it works the strong wind generated brought me 3 times cold this summer. You can not stay in room when you are sweating. In good design you should not fill any winds or drafts in your room.  Just dry cool atmosphere.  But Frigidaires lack them all.  That ionizer for air filter makes no any positive effect.
I regret that I left my previous General Electric A/C with vent for fresh air before I moved to new address.  PC Richard's which sold this unit to me insisted that Frigidaire's products are the best on a market nowadays.  Another bunch of commercial liars.
