This was not my first digital camera and I wish it would have been. I take all kinds of pictures ranging from family indoor and outdoor to pictures of the scenery around the house. The quality of the pictures amazed me to where you can even zoom in on your camera after you take the picture to see what was far away. I actually received this as a free camera from Dell for purchasing through them and I am glad I decided to get it. I plan on purchasing the same exact camera for my grandfather for Christmas cause he loves the picture quality and the options that the camera has.
Here's some great options that the camera and the FinePix Viewer have to offer:
FinePix Viewer:
which comes on CD with the camera gives you simple instructions on how to download, save and organize photos. Also you can use this software to edit, frame and print the picture exactly how you want it. Plus once you collected lots of images you can put them together in a Video CD Album so that way you can give them to friends and relatives.
FinePix Camera:
Mode Switch (still photo mode, playback mode & movie mode)

Zoom is a maximum of 3.2x and focal length is 36mm-115mm
A standard 16MB xD-Picture Card comes with depending upon which mega pixels you decide to use it will hold 19-122 pictures.
LCD monitor, Viewfinder, Display button, Menu/OK button, Back Button, Tripod mount, Flash, Zoom Switch, Self Timer, Macro button, Video out, USB socket and power input controls that are on the camera.
The Batteries are 2 AA I choose to use lithium batteries because they do last longer than normal batteries do.
Delete by frame or all at once.
Set time and date.
Lightweight
Overall I think this would be a great digital camera especially for beginners because it has great easy to follow options. I have not found anything as of yet that is negative about this camera and I have had it for 7 months.
