Pros: The scent, the price.
Cons: Build up, weigh down.
The Bottom Line: You could call this Build Up in a Bottle. I was really disappointed in this Garnier product.

| 42ENGLISH's Full Review: Garnier Fructis Fortifying Cream Conditioner Norma... |
I had used some Garnier Fructis products before that I had been really happy with so when I came across the shampoo and conditioner, I bought some. My hair had been dull and limp from sea water, pool water and effects of the sun so I wanted to put a little shine back in it. I was hoping that Garnier Fructis Fortifying Cream Conditioner for normal hair would help me do that. I hadnt had much luck with the shampoo but was willing to give the conditioner a chance even so.
Ingredients:
Water, Cetyl Alcohol, PEG-180, Behentrimonium Chloride, Amodimethicone, Pyrus Malus (Apple) Fruit Extract, Fragrance, Cetyl Esters, Laurylmethicone Copolymer, Methylparaben, Hydroxyethylcellulose, Lanolin, Niacinamide, Pyridoxine HCl, Tideceth -12, Citric Acid, Saccharum Officiarum (Sugar Cane) Extract, Chlorhexidine Dihydrochloride, Cetrimonium Chloride, Citrus Medica Limonium (Lemon) Peel Extract, Camelliea Sinensis Leaf Extract F.I.L. D1941/1
This product comes in a bright green, plastic, 13 fl oz bottle with a flip top cap. The product itself is white and very thick and creamy and has that familiar coconutty, lemon-lime scent.
Garniers Claim:
The innovative combination of ingredients naturally present in fruit help give strength and shine to your hair: Fruit acids, Vitamins B3, B6, Fructose, Glucose
For Hair That Shines With All Its Strength
The Garnier Fructis System of Fortifying Shampoo, Conditioner and Deep Conditioner with active fruit concentrate acts deep within and on the surface of your hair.
1. It nourishes the hair from root to tip.
2. It works inside the hair strand to strengthen it.
3. It smoothes the hair to the tip.
Proven Results
The Garnier Fructis System makes hair 5 times stronger and up to 5 times smoother for shinier hair. (In brushing/combing tests, compared to an ordinary shampoo.)
My Experience:
After washing my hair with the matching shampoo, I applied a good quarter-sized amount of conditioner to my hair and massaged it in. It was very soft and creamy and I thought that this conditioner was going to do a good job. I left it on a good ten minutes while I continued with my shower and rinsed it off. It took a while but eventually it came out of my hair. I blamed that on its thick consistency.
I blow dried my hair as usual and was very disappointed to find that my hair was full of build up, something I hate. I like to have clean looking hair and it did have shine but when I ran my fingers through it, it was coated. The only thing I liked about this conditioner was the scent which I have always been fond of.
Conclusion:
I was very disappointed with Garnier Fructis Fortifying Cream Conditioner for normal hair. I have used other Garnier products that seemed far more superior. In my opinion, this product made my hair worse than before I washed it. I used it about three times and had to revert back to my regular conditioner. It left far too much build up and weighed my hair down.
