I got this from my periodic shipments of coffee from Gevalia.
I started with 6 scoops of coffee. I put it in my electric round grinder and ground it to a medium consistency. Then I put it in my French press and leave it for 4 minutes before plunging. I use bottled water because my tap water is highly chlorinated.

Aroma The aroma is sharp and distinct. It is like an overripe fruit kind of smell. Maybe a little bit of black olive in the notes. Not completely bad but not all that pleasing either.
Taste Wine is one way to describe this in one word. This coffee bean has definitely had a chance to ferment. It is very acidic, reminiscent of an orange gone south. It is an acquired taste and you have to love coffee to love this brew. It is not for those of you that like a mild coffee, get Kona if that is you.
Aftertaste You have the acid and that winey taste with you for 30 seconds or so. Pleasing if you like that taste.
