Gwennie68's Full Review: Graco Doubletray Highchair
I liked mine at first and the more I use it the more I hate it. When you need to recline it, there is a red bar underneath that pinches my finger when I try to recline it. The heavier the baby gets, the harder it is to recline forward and backwards. My baby would eat and fall asleep in it for a few minutes, so I would recline it back, well it wakes him up every time when I try, it jerks. It is great that it does recline because every child I had fell asleep in the highchair while I was doing the dishes or on the computer.
I do like it because the cover comes off to wash and is reversible. When you do take the cover to get washed, they have a plastic padding underneath. The height things is nice, but once again, it is harder to do when they are in it. I am probably breaking every rule about using the highchair. I am probably using it wrong, but I don't lack common sense and this thing is a bit tricky in my book.
The price is a bit steep at toys r us. They had the green plaid and nobody else had that, so I could not shop around much.
The cover faded a tad bit when washed, but looked much softer.
So far it has been very sturdy.
The chair will not close up and for me not having a big kitchen, that is a very big problem.
