Great Buy But...

I got a great buy on this computer. It was the last one in the store and it was on display so I only paid $1,040.00. Meanwhile it was marked $1,500.00. So needless to say I was excited to get all of that computer for that price.

I love all of the features and the speed is great. My only complaint is that the computer hangs quite often and I have to reboot. The only software products I run are off-the-shelf- Microsoft Office 2000, Quicken 2000, and Internet Explorer. Yet this crashes all of the time for no apparent reason. I think this may have to do with all of the extra HP software that is running on top of Windows 98. at some point I will probably rebuild the computer from scratch and skip the HP software.

Other than that I think HP makes a great desktop. I have had a Compaq, a Dell, and now the HP. Having the CD Burner and a DVD Drive is a great feature.
