Pros: Easy to master, but not without challenges.
Cons: Small screen, no back light.
The Bottom Line: This is much better than the older handheld poker games, so I recommend this for its portability and sophistication.

I've lost several hands but I've never lost a game! Since real poker is more about looking for tells than the cards in your hand, I don't think playing this computerized game is going to land anyone on the World Series Tour, but it's fun all the same! Since one player must always be set to Player, and one or more of the others to Computer, be careful that you don't hit the wrong key, changing the status of the Player to Computer. This will prematurely end your game if you try to advance the play. If you find that you've hit the wrong key, changing the Player status, just set it to its proper definition before trying to advance the play, and you won't lose your game prematurely. It advertises that you can go all in, but that's not quite accurate. The computer player has had to go in when it's chips can't cover the blinds, so you never really get a chance to go all in with a hot hand. You're allowed the standard three raises, but that's the biggest betting I've seen. I've settled on using Computer 4; Player 1, and this keeps them separated enough that I don't confuse the two hands. The computer will bluff, bully, pull back, raise, raise some more, then fold if you push back ... all the things you find at a real table. I wouldn't think of using this for a crowd of friends; that's what a real table and deck of cards are for. But for solitary play, it's a great way to pass TV commercial time. I also like the sound adjustment with its mute ability. I'd say that if you like watching/playing Hold em, you won't be disappointed in this game.
