Pros: slick look (deceiving) and good pda/phone intergration.
Cons: miserable battery life, constant resets, fragile body, worthless!
The Bottom Line: Don't buy it. Poor quality to the maximum. Completely unreliable. Now we are throwing away ours.

| junlei_dance's Full Review: Handspring Treo 300 Handheld |
We had the worst experience with the TREO 300. Previously used a Kyocera 6035 until baby poured milk over it. So, we are excited about a TREO 300 acquired for $100 at a warranteed ebay seller. It looks good and had a few good reviews.
Immediately, we find that the battery life is awful. I mean, awful! ... It doesn't have 150 hour standby time at all. Sometimes it can go 80 hours, maybe; but other times, a mere 10 hours if you are lucky. Completely unpredictable no matter how you charge it. The ebay seller nicely sent us a brand new battery. Same problem. And within a month, the phone starts to have "fatal errors: reset" showing up every other day. So we requested an exchange. The seller came through and sent us another phone and took back the first one. Again, all these phones look only slightly used when we got them. All batteries are new. But again, battery life is the same way. It's not even the fact that it's short-lived that bugs us ('cause we could charge it up every night). It's the fact that it's completely unpredictable. You can see the indicator telling you that you have 2/3 power left, in a minutes, you are down to nothing. More fatal resets. Sometimes the phone wouldn't even ring when a call comes through (you can tell a call is coming through because you can see it on the screen, but the ringer wouldn't go off, for no rhyme or reason!) Last straw: on a routine use, the front panel broke off. Can you believe it?
You can tell we are very frustrated. So we are giving up and going back to buying an old Kyocera 6035. We've heard from other reviewers and friends who had owned a treo 300 how miserable it is. We wish we knew.
If you are shopping on the market for a used or refurbished palm phone, treo 300 is one to AVOID!!
