Pros: Service was okay, some videos were pretty good
Cons: music was way too loud, food was lousy
The Bottom Line: The bottom line is that I would not recommend this restaurant, unless you like loud music and lousy food.

| roxpum's Full Review: Hard Rock Cafe |
I received a gift certificate to Hard Rock Cafe so my husband and I decided to give it a try. We had never been there before. We went to the one at the Oasis at the Sawgrass Mall in Florida.
We went on a Friday night and to my surprise there was no wait. We had tried to get in there once before, months ago and the line was out the door and the wait was two hours. But for some strange reason we got right in this time. That was not a good sign to me. Anyway as soon as we walked in the music was blaring. We were seated at a booth and were served right away. The first thing I noticed (aside from the blaring noise) was that it was that the lighting was kind of strange. It was dark but there was this horrible lamp hanging between our faces at the table. It was directly in our way, not that it mattered because you had to scream to have any sort of conversation. I remember saying something three times before my husband heard me. There were t.v's all around the restaurant and they were showing rock videos. The videos were actually pretty good, but they were just way too loud.
The menu is pretty much your basic American food: burgers, sandwiches and fries, etc. We ordered onion rings and chicken fingers for an appetizer, neither of which had any taste at all but were edible none the less. I ordered a BLT with fries and my husband ordered ribs. My BLT was not so bad (how much damage can you do to a BLT?) But my poor husband said the ribs were horrible and only ate a few of them. He said they were tasteless and tough.
The restaurant was decorated nicely with gold records hanging around and pictures of rock stars. I happen to love music so I enjoyed looking at all the memorabelia. I just couldn't think straight with Metallica screaming in my ear. And then of course they have alot of souvenirs for sale at the front of the restaurant.
I did have a hot fudge sundae for dessert which was really good. That was the best part of the whole thing!!
All in all it was not that great and I would not recommend it.
